The digital odometer in the 2000 Neon flashes "Fuse" after the car is =
started. I've checked all of the fuses in both fuse boxes and they're =
all fine. What's causing this and how can I fix it? Thanks all.

I checked them with a meter. When it showed them as being good, I pulled =
each fuse and checked them visually. I couldn't get the fuse in the =
yellow holder in the underhood fusebox to release, but the meter says =
it's good and it's doing it's job obviously, as when it's pulled upwards =
out of the slot, the inside light's radio, etc don't light up.

Everything works. That's the problem. The odometer still flashes "Fuse" =
even though everything on the car works, and the fuses are all good. The =
radio is still stock.

Yes, but where could it be when everything still works fine?

try pulling the battery cable off for about 2 minutes and step on the brake
peddle (to insure the system drains). Then put it back on and see if that
clears it up.

grasping for straws on this one....

I don't know about the 2000 Neon cluster but I do know the older ones had
serious cold solder joints on the cluster circuit board. That was the cause
of my daughter's 96 speedometer acting intermittent. If you can check the
cluster board do it under a magnifying glass.

Ok, I'll try it, but if I may ask, what do you mean by "to insure that =
the system drains"? Drains what? Which system? I too, am grasping at =
straws at this stage.

If it comes down to doing that, I'll just have her take it to the dealer =
under warranty. I thought that it might be something simple like a blown =
fuse. It would have been silly to take it to the dealer for that, but if =
it's going to be something complicated or something that's covered under =
her warranty, the dealer gets it. Thanks.
